TradeWatch UK was founded by professionals with backgrounds in international trade, economics, and data analysis. What started as a focused trade intelligence service evolved into a broader platform after witnessing first-hand the scale of harm caused by rogue traders to communities across the UK.
We spoke to hundreds of homeowners who had been defrauded, intimidated, or simply left with dangerous work. We also spoke to scores of ethical tradespeople who were frustrated at being lumped in with cowboys — losing work to competitors who undercut by cutting corners on insurance, qualifications, and conduct.
